Today, I had a meaningful session with a 15-year-old who has unfortunately been drawn into the dangerous world of county lines drug trafficking. During our conversation, we delved into the perils and immorality of his actions.

Despite his involvement, I recognized his intelligence and the potential for a brighter future. To drive this point home, I assigned him a task: to watch the film “A Bronx Tale.” While initially hesitant, he finally watched it and expressed a desire to change his path.

The film’s powerful message about choosing friends wisely, living with integrity, and not squandering one’s talents seemed to resonate deeply with him. I’m hopeful that he’s taken this message to heart and will make positive changes moving forward.
