Through our proven, life-changing methods, we give young people the tools to overcome obstacles, build strength and unlock their full potential. We are committed to shaping the next generation.
We are SweetScience Foundation, a not-for-profit registered charity dedicated to transforming youth development across the UK through the powerful combination of non-contact boxing and mentoring. Founded by Leroy Nicholas in 2005, our unique programme has been empowering children and young people for over two decades, combining the discipline, focus and ethos of boxing with mentoring to build resilience, self-control and confidence.
In the shadows of our communities, a crisis is unfolding. Knife crime surged by 78% in the last decade. One in two females are scared to walk alone. There is an exponential rise of county lines drug operations. These aren’t just cold statistics, they represent futures cut tragically short, families shattered and our communities living in fear.
Last year, 2025, we mentored over 1000 students through our unique programme in over 20 schools across London - that’s one thousand more young people who are empowered to take control of their futures.

Every single donation, whether it’s £5, £25 or £100, goes directly towards our programme delivery. £1,250 funds a TEN WEEK course FOR AN ENTIRE CLASS in your local school, providing a tangible, life-changing impact. In contrast, it costs the Government up to £400 PER DAY to place ONE child in a Pupil Referral Unit.
