It’s about more than boxing.

Today SweetScience Foundation were fortunate enough to be able to bring a supporter of the Foundation and, self made business man, CEO of Domestic Repairs LTD, Phil White, to speak with one of our vulnerable and at risk students.

This 17 year old has been involved in county lines and numerous other illegal and dangerous activities.

Phil made the young man feel at ease, immediately and the conversation was smooth and jovial.

Phil connected the dots between them and was very open about the mistakes he made as an adolescent, the similarities between them at that age really struck a cord with the young man and opened his eyes and horizons to what his future could hold with direction, dedication and hard work.

It was uplifting to see this young person almost grow before our eyes.

It’s about more than just boxing, it always has been.
