We did our last session with the students at Elmgrove Primary School in Harrow yesterday.
Sweet Science Foundation were asked to step in as there had been some behavioural issues with the selected students.
As always we began the session by asking how their week had been since we last saw them. We encourage them to be imaginative with the words they use to describe it.
We heard answers ranging from “not bad” to “good”, “excellent”, “amazing” and “outstanding” with one young student using the word “amiable”.
I finished off the session letting the students jab me to the body while I swung punches in their general direction to test defensive skills. A kind of end of term exam which They giggled and laughed their way through.
We are waiting for formal feedback from the school regarding their progress and I am very optimistic regarding their results.
